This is our team so far with a little information about where we each are with our OHDSI and Databricks journies as of April of 2023. If you would like to be added or have any content already here updated, please open an issue in our GitHub Issues

NACHC (National Association of Community Health Centers Started working with Databricks about 3 years ago and built our NACHC’s enterprise informatics system on Databricks. New(ish) to OHDSI (started working with OHDSI just over a year ago). Background is primarily software engineering and solution architecture. Java, RDMS (SQL, Oracle, MySql, MS Sql Server, some PostgreSql). Large and small team experience (Pfizer and United Healthcare and I was the 27th employee at Modernizing Medicine).

MedstarHealth (10 hospital env in DC area) Actively working on getting their OHDSI implementation stood up. Working through some JDBC and/or config and some potential R/Java interoperability. Making great progress. MD Informatisist (not R, but SAS, Python, etc. Project manager for standing up OHDSI) Involved in extending OHDSI to other users. Built majority of ETL. Have Python pipeline that they are using for ETL. Lots of part time peoples working on project (about 10-20% of about 10 people).

Amgen Activly working on getting thir OHDSI implementation. Been working on Databricks/OHDSI for about a year. Working on pipline process to go from Atlas to Databricks. Biostats experience R and SAS.

Johns Hopkins Harminizing/Ingesting data from external sources (n3c, pcornet) etl state of MD Covid (crisp) data in to SPARK/Databricks env. Lots of work on mapping concepts to standard concepts.
