Objective 1
To create and promote a unified set of resources to guide Tidy R development in OMOP and support the OHDSI community.
Results
- Adoption of the Tidy R programming with the OMOP CDM book by the workgroup.
- Publish the first version of the Tidy R Development in OMOP book to establish best practices for R package development with the OMOP CDM.
- Provide an outline of additional related books that could expand the resource collection
Objective 2
To establish an overview of available packages relevant to Tidy R programming in OMOP (tidyverse style packages).
Results
- Launch a documentation page linking typical epidemiologic research questions to relevant OHDSI packages.
- Compile a list of packages in the OHDSI GitHub organisation that work or can work with the tidy OMOP CDM.
- Identify additional repositories outside OHDSI that could align with the shared framework.
- Document the purpose and scope of existing OHDSI packages.
Regular meetings
The regular meetings take place the first Wednesday of the month.
